Overview

Financial services is one of the hardest environments to market in: every public message is subject to compliance review, and trust is the entire value proposition. As Social Media Manager for Mortgage Investors Group, I led social and digital engagement strategy inside those constraints — strengthening brand authority without ever putting the company at risk.

Challenge

In a regulated lending environment, marketing and compliance can easily become adversaries. Messaging has to be accurate, defensible, and approved — but it also has to be compelling enough to build credibility and audience trust. The work was to make speed, creativity, and compliance coexist.

Strategy

I developed a comprehensive social strategy aligned to corporate marketing goals and regulatory guidelines, and I built the operating model to deliver it: structured content approval workflows, a clear creative brand direction, and an analytics loop that turned engagement data into better messaging.
